Uppercurrent Script Access

Application information

Privacy policy

A practical explanation of the information used to maintain Uppercurrent’s automation and support requested invoice recovery.

Effective October 28, 2026

1. About this policy

Uppercurrent Inc. operates Uppercurrent Script Access for a limited group of authorized operators. This policy covers this website, the application’s Google connection, access to designated automation projects, and its invoice recovery feature.

Uppercurrent’s broader invoicing operations may use additional business services. This policy describes the information handled through this application and the connected services involved in its features.

2. Information we use

Google account information
The ordinary connection requests identity and email permissions. During invoice recovery, the account email is used to check whether the operator is permitted to perform that action.
Automation project content
The application reads and updates source files and related project information in designated Google Apps Script projects. Files may contain business logic, configuration, or other information included by the project’s maintainers.
Connection credentials
Google provides authorization credentials that enable the approved connection. They are processed by the application, may be shown to the authorizing operator during setup, and may be retained in its hosting environment for continued authorized access.
Invoice recovery information
A separately requested recovery can read or update relevant spreadsheet records and process an order number, invoice identifier, customer email, invoice amount and currency, delivery status, and the resulting activity record.
Technical information
Requests and errors may generate service diagnostics. Hosting services may process connection details such as IP addresses, browser information, request times, and response status.

3. Why we use this information

We use information to establish an approved Google connection, review and maintain automation, perform a specifically requested invoice recovery, record its outcome, and investigate operational problems.

The ordinary connection requests permission to read and edit Apps Script projects. The separate invoice recovery flow also requests spreadsheet access. That flow can use an existing QuickBooks invoice and send it again to the customer email held in Uppercurrent’s operational records.

Google user data and Limited Use

We use and transfer Google user data in accordance with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Google user data is used to provide and support the features described here; it is not sold or used for advertising.

4. Services and sharing

The application uses the following services to carry out its functions:

  • Google handles account authorization and the connected Apps Script and Sheets services.
  • Vercel hosts the application and processes requests, connection credentials, and service diagnostics needed to run it.
  • Intuit QuickBooks is involved when an authorized recovery uses Uppercurrent’s existing accounting connection to resend an invoice. The invoice and recipient information are processed to complete that action.

Authorized operators receive the project content or recovery results needed for the requested work. Information may also be reviewed by authorized personnel handling a support request. These providers process information under their own applicable terms and privacy practices.

5. Storage and protection

Automation projects and operational spreadsheet records are held in the connected Google services. Accounting records are held in QuickBooks. The application processes information while carrying out requests, and connection credentials may be retained in the hosting environment while access is needed.

Invoice recovery writes status and activity information to Uppercurrent’s operational spreadsheets. Business records and provider diagnostics are subject to the relevant operational requirements and service retention settings. Contact us to discuss a particular record or request deletion; we will review the request in light of applicable business record requirements.

The application uses Google authorization and limits project access to designated projects. Its authorization flow uses short-lived cookies to check that a response belongs to the connection request. Operators are responsible for keeping accounts and connection credentials confidential and reporting suspected misuse.

6. Cookies and diagnostics

During Google authorization, the application uses short-lived cookies to validate the connection response and, when relevant, remember the requested recovery action. These cookies expire after approximately ten minutes.

These public information pages include no advertising or analytics scripts. Hosting providers may process technical information needed to deliver and maintain the service.

7. Your choices

You can review or remove this application’s Google permissions in your Google Account connections. Removing access prevents further use of that authorization and may interrupt the connected operational workflow.

Revoking Google access does not itself remove records already held in operational spreadsheets, accounting systems, or service diagnostics. For questions about access, correction, or deletion, contact Uppercurrent at the address below.

8. Contact and updates

For questions about this policy or information handled by Uppercurrent Script Access, contact Uppercurrent Inc. at mindslash79@gmail.com. Please describe your request without including passwords or connection credentials.

We may update this policy as the application or its data practices change. The current version and effective date will be available on this page.
